Judge Rules Generic Drug Infringes Dermalogix Patent

Law360, New York (March 29, 2011, 3:44 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge found Monday that a generics maker's proposed version of the psoriasis spray Clobex infringes a patent asserted by Galderma SA and Dermalogix Inc., but stopped short of granting summary judgment on the patent's validity.  

Judge Terry R. Means of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas ruled on competing partial summary judgment bids, denying defendant Paddock Laboratories Inc.'s motion and partly granting the motion by plaintiffs Galderma and Dermalogix.
