South Florida Trustee To Surrender On State Charges

Law360, New York (March 30, 2011, 4:07 PM EDT) -- Marika Tolz, the longtime bankruptcy trustee facing federal charges that she misappropriated more than $16 million in cases she was overseeing, will surrender to Florida authorities Wednesday in connection to related state charges.

Last week, Florida State Attorney Michael J. Satz charged Tolz with grand theft in the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida, alleging she stole at least $100,000 from the estate of James M. Christensen.
