National Grid Hampering U.K. Gas Meter Competition

Law360 (April 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Already facing antitrust problems in the United States, international natural gas powerhouse National Grid PLC is now facing an investigation into possible violations of the United Kingdom Competition Act as well.

On Friday, the U.K.’s Gas and Electricity Markets Authority said it had issued a supplementary Statement of Objections against National Grid as part of an investigation into domestic gas meters.
