7th Circ. Denies Cert. In Rolls-Royce Sex Bias Suit

Law360, New York (March 30, 2011, 6:31 PM EDT) -- The Seventh Circuit on Wednesday upheld a denial of class certification in a sex discrimination suit in which a group of female Rolls-Royce Corp. employees allege the automaker paid women less than men for the same or similar work.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit ruled that a district court correctly denied the plaintiffs' class certification motion and rightly granted summary judgment to Rolls-Royce.
