UPS Contractors Pick Up Class Cert. In OT Suit

Law360, New York (April 1, 2011, 7:26 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge gave her conditional approval Thursday to collective action treatment for a group of UPS Inc. driver contractors who claim they should be treated like employees and paid overtime and minimum wage.

Judge Joan A. Lenard of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida ordered UPS to begin releasing the names and addresses of drivers nationwide so they can be notified of the suit.
