Ex-Juniper GC Must Answer SEC In Backdating Case

Law360, New York (April 4, 2011, 5:45 PM EDT) -- A California federal court on Friday ordered a former Juniper Networks Inc. general counsel to answer the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s questions about her role in an alleged $900 million stock options backdating scheme.

Magistrate Judge Howard R. Lloyd of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California told Lisa C. Berry that she must describe in detail discussions she had with fellow executives and others about the process by which stock options were granted at Juniper.
