ITC Eyes Duties For Mexican, Chinese Steel Wire

Law360, New York (April 4, 2011, 4:11 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Friday that it had begun an investigation into whether anti-dumping duties should be imposed on galvanized steel wire from Mexico and China in response to a petition filed by domestic producers.

The ITC gave notice of a preliminary phase anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigation on galvanized steel wire from Mexico and China, saying it will reach a preliminary determination by May 16.
