Natural Gas Companies Hit With Class Action

Law360, New York (April 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Natural gas customers in Missouri have filed a class action against a cluster of natural gas providers for allegedly conspiring to manipulate the prices of natural gas futures by reporting false or misleading trade information.

Prime Tanning Corp. and the Heartland Regional Medical Center, both companies in Missouri, originally filed the suit in the circuit court of Buchanan County, Missouri. It was moved to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri on Friday.
