Noble Scores 3rd-Party Docs In $50M Wire Defect Suit

Law360, New York (April 7, 2011, 5:34 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Wednesday ordered a third-party contractor to turn over documents in Noble Drilling Services Inc.'s $50 million suit against Bridon-American Corp. and Certex USA Inc. over wire ropes that allegedly snapped and damaged oil rigs.

Judge Kenneth M. Hoyt of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas directed Delmar Systems Inc., which performed analyses for Noble on the mooring systems at issue, to respond to the subpoena of wire maker Bridon and provide certain documentation associated with its work...
