Hard Rock Casino Must Deal With Teamsters: NLRB

Law360, New York (April 8, 2011, 9:03 PM EDT) -- Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and Casino must stop refusing to bargain with a Teamsters local of parking valets, the National Labor Relations Board ruled Thursday.

The board ordered the casino, legally known as Hard Rock Holdings LLC, to enter talks with Local 995 of the Professional, Clerical and Miscellaneous Employees, an affiliate of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

Hard Rock had refused to deal with the union, which represents Hard Rock's parking valets, because it thought the election that certified it was invalid.
