Andritz Loses Bid Protest Over Hydro Power Plant Work

Law360 (April 8, 2011, 6:14 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office announced Friday it had rejected a bid protest by Andritz Hydro Corp. over its $4.9 million proposal for a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers work contract at a South Dakota hydroelectric power plant.

In a decision made March 21 but released Friday, the GAO upheld the manner in which Corps evaluators rated the proposal of the Charlotte, N.C.-based company on certain factors, including personnel, experience and technical data.
