CFTC Moves For McGraw-Hill's Natural Gas Info

Law360 (May 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission on Monday asked a district court to help it force McGraw-Hill Co. Inc. to give up information that may relate to an ongoing case against price-fixing in the natural gas markets.

The CFTC said that the publisher owns natural gas index provider Platts, which in turn owns monthly gas market report “Inside FERC.”
