Qualcomm Says PJC Logistics' GPS Patent Is Invalid

Law360 (April 11, 2011, 2:20 PM EDT) -- Responding to PJC Logistics LLC's infringement claims against dozens of trucking outfits that use Qualcomm Inc. fleet management technology, the wireless communications company asked a Minnesota federal court on Thursday to declare the plaintiff's patent invalid.

Qualcomm contends that the patent PJC Logistics seeks to assert against its customers is invalid for lack of novelty, according to a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
