Pentagon Told To Revisit $8M Tech Support Order

Law360, New York (April 11, 2011, 1:11 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office said Monday that a U.S. Department of Defense agency must reconsider its decision to award a $7.9 million information technology task order to 5D Information Management Inc.

The GAO initially rendered the decision in February, but did not release a redacted version of its ruling until Monday. 5D competitor U.S. Information Technologies Corp., which submitted a $9.4 million bid for the same work, lodged the bid protest with the GAO.
