NY Legislators, 6 Others Deny Bribery Charges

Law360, New York (April 12, 2011, 3:07 PM EDT) -- New York state Sen. Carl Kruger, Assemblyman William Boyland Jr. and six others pled not guilty Tuesday to conspiracies to bribe officials and curry favor for hospital acquisitions and other projects.

Kruger, Boyland, MediSys Health Network CEO David Rosen, former Parkway Hospital CEO Robert Aquino, lobbyist Richard Lipsky, real estate developer Aaron Malinsky, health care consultant Solomon Kalish, and Kruger's friend Michael Turano all pled not guilty before Judge Jed S. Rakoff of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
