Ex-Goldman Exec Fights SEC's Bid To Toss Suit

Law360, New York (April 12, 2011, 5:12 PM EDT) -- An ex-Goldman Sachs Group Inc. director asked a New York federal judge Monday not to toss his suit targeting the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's administrative action accusing him of passing inside information to Galleon Group LLC founder Raj Rajaratnam.

Gary P. Naftalis of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP lodged Rajat K. Gupta's memorandum opposing the SEC's bid to dismiss the suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, arguing that the court does have jurisdiction to hear the case....
