Add “lawyers’ fees” and the volume of the response will go up. Yet increasing the attractiveness and effectiveness of private civil enforcement of EU competition law tops the competition policy agenda for the European Commission. Are the barbarians banging on the EU gates? Is the Commission inviting them in?
