Ex-Gryphon Prez Pleads Guilty To Securities Fraud

Law360 (April 14, 2011, 5:20 PM EDT) -- Former Gryphon Holdings Inc. President Kenneth Marsh on Thursday pled guilty in New York to giving investors phony stock tips to get them to subscribe to his investment service.

Marsh, 44, copped to one count of securities fraud before Judge Jack Weinstein of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, who did not immediately set a sentencing date.

"We're pleased that we were able to resolve this in the manner that we did," Marsh's lawyer Alan S. Futerfas told Law360 Thursday....
