Ameridebt Founder Gets Jail Time

Law360 (May 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A district judge has jailed the founder of defunct credit counseling firm Ameridebt and his friend until they turn over millions of dollars in assets they allegedly are hiding from the court.

Judge Peter J. Messitte on Wednesday incarcerated Andris Pukke and his friend Peter Baker indefinitely until they give the court a significant portion of at least $30 million in assets that Pukke allegedly stashed with friends and family.
