Apple Claims Samsung Galaxy Copies iPhone

Law360 (April 18, 2011, 10:08 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. reportedly sued Samsung Electronics Co. on Friday, claiming the South Korean electronics company copied its iPhone smartphones and iPad tablets to make its own devices.

Samsung's Galaxy series of touchscreen products infringe on Apple's patents and trademarks, Apple claims in a suit filed in a California federal court. The complaint was reported in the Wall Street Journal but was not immediately available in PACER.
