"Dallas" Actor Drops Vacated $11M FINRA Award Appeal

Law360, New York (April 18, 2011, 9:59 PM EDT) -- Larry Hagman, the actor who played oil baron J.R. Ewing in the 1980s TV show "Dallas," on Friday dropped his appeal of a California state judge's decision to nix his $11.5 million arbitration award against Citigroup Global Market Inc.

Hagman filed an abandonment of appeal in the Los Angeles Superior Court after the actor and Citigroup reached a settlement to end a two-year fight over alleged mismanagement of Hagman's trusts and retirement accounts, according to his attorney, Philip M. Aidikoff.
