Commerce To Probe Chinese Steel Wheel Imports

Law360 (April 21, 2011, 4:13 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Tuesday said it had granted Accuride Corp. and Hayes Lemmerz International Inc.'s request to investigate whether China has exported steel wheels to the U.S. at less than fair value.

Commerce says it will determine in countervailing and anti-dumping investigations whether the U.S. industry had been materially injured or threatened as a result of the imports, which are also also being probed by the U.S. International Trade Commission.
