Jury Verdict In Epic Bratz Battle Reached

Law360, New York (April 20, 2011, 9:32 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge said that on Thursday he would announce the jury verdict that was reached Wednesday in Mattel Inc.’s epic intellectual property and breach-of-contract feud with MGA Entertainment Inc. over the ownership of Bratz dolls.

While jurors made their decision after eight days of deliberation, U.S. District Court Judge David O. Carter decided not to announce the verdict until to 8:30 a.m. Thursday, according to a Mattel spokeswoman.
