Medicaid Claims Processor Dodges FCA Suit

Law360, New York (April 21, 2011, 3:06 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in Washington on Wednesday dismissed Digital Healthcare Inc.'s suit accusing a Medicaid claims processor of committing fraud by refusing to use the plaintiff's insurance screening method, saying the complaint lacked necessary detail.

DHI had described a sweeping conspiracy involving tens of thousands of false Medicaid claims billed to the government since 2002, but had failed to identify a single individual or specific false claim for payment, according to U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton.
