Class Cert. Denied In Pitt ADA Suit

Law360 (April 21, 2011, 6:33 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge denied a motion for class certification Thursday in a suit accusing the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center of discriminating against disabled employees.

U.S. District Judge Terrence F. McVerry denied the motion by plaintiff Gary Chedwick, who claims he was terminated from his position as a software analyst and not rehired because he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of his military service in Vietnam.
