2nd Circ. Ejects Ex-DLA Piper Atty's Race Bias Suit

Law360, New York (April 22, 2011, 6:01 PM EDT) -- The Second Circuit on Friday again rebuffed an appeal by a former DLA Piper attorney who claims the firm retaliated against her on the basis of her race.

A three-judge panel denied Charlene Morisseau’s bid to transfer the case and dismissed her appeal, saying she had failed to file a brief in the matter.
