Reed Smith Adds Howrey IP Pair

Law360, New York (April 26, 2011, 4:05 PM EDT) -- Reed Smith LLP said Friday it had boosted the ranks of its San Francisco intellectual property team with the addition of a partner and a litigation associate who hail from collapsed law firm Howrey LLP.

Partner Robert N. Phillips and litigation associate Seth Herring, who has worked closely with Phillips for many years, are the latest acquisitions for Reed Smith stemming from Howrey’s downfall, following the addition of three insurance attorneys to the firm’s Los Angeles office earlier in April.
