Law360, New York (April 25, 2011, 2:06 PM EDT) -- A customer slapped Bayer HealthCare LLC with a class action Friday in California federal court accusing the company of falsely and deceptively advertising the benefits of its Phillips Colon Health probiotic supplements.

Named plaintiff Diana Stanley contends Bayer's allegedly bogus marketing campaign has succeeded in enticing consumers to purchase the digestive and immune health products that combine three strains of probiotic bacteria.
