Primary Global Defendant Negotiating Plea Deal: US

Law360, New York (April 27, 2011, 7:04 PM EDT) -- One of the earliest Primary Global LLP consultants charged as part of an expert networking insider trading probe is discussing a possible plea deal with the government, a prosecutor told a New York federal judge Wednesday.

Assistant U.S. Attorney David Leibowitz told Judge Jed Rakoff during a brief hearing in Manhattan federal court that “extensive” plea negotiations with defendant Don Chu “are still ongoing.”
