Burger King Accused Of Not Paying Overtime

Law360, New York (May 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Burger King Corp. faces a new putative collective action lawsuit filed on behalf of a former employee who claims the fast food giant violated federal law by not paying proper overtime rates and failing to post notice informing employees’ of their rights with respect to minimum wage and overtime pay.

The lawsuit was filed Thursday in Miami by Ruben Pachecho, who worked as an assistant manager trainee for Burger King for about six months in 2006, according to the complaint.
