Ex-SAC Analyst Settles SEC Insider Trading Claims

Law360, New York (April 28, 2011, 7:32 PM EDT) -- A former SAC Capital Advisors LP analyst on Thursday settled a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission suit alleging he traded on material nonpublic information related to the 2006 acquisition of grocery store chain Albertson’s LLC.

Jonathan Hollander “decided to settle the matter rather than engage in costly and protracted litigation with the SEC,” according to his attorney, Aitan Goelman of Zuckerman Spaeder LLP.
