Concrete Co. Settles Workers' Big Dig Retaliation Suit

Law360, New York (May 2, 2011, 5:26 PM EDT) -- Aggregate Industries Inc. on Monday resolved a retaliation suit brought by two former workers who had helped secure a $50 million settlement in a False Claims Act suit over the concrete company's work on Boston's Big Dig project.

Judge William G. Young entered an order dismissing the parties' dispute without cost and "without prejudice to the right of any party to reopen the action within 30 days if a settlement is not consummated." The parties were set to begin a jury trial Monday, according to court...
