Commerce Preserves Chinese Hand Tool Duties

Law360, New York (May 3, 2011, 3:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Tuesday issued the final results of its expedited sunset review of anti-dumping duty orders on heavy forged hand tools imported from China, finding that pulling back the duties would likely cause the products to be sold in the U.S. at less than fair value.

Revocation of the orders would likely cause continued or recurring dumping to occur at the rates established in its original investigation in January 1991, the DOC said in a notice published in the Federal Register....
