Coke, Pepsi Settle Orange Juice Trade Dress Suit

Law360, New York (May 4, 2011, 1:28 PM EDT) -- Coca-Cola Co. agreed Tuesday to drop its lawsuit in Texas accusing PepsiCo Inc. of copying its trade dress for Simply Orange orange juice by packaging its Trop50 juices in a similar carafe-style container with a green closure.

The beverage giants filed a joint motion asking the court to dismiss with prejudice all claims pending between them in the litigation. The terms of the resolution were not disclosed in the filing.
