US To Pay $9.1M To Insurers Over Faulty Dam Plans

Law360, New York (May 6, 2011, 7:46 PM EDT) -- Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. and several other insurers announced Thursday the U.S. will pay them $9.1 million to settle a breach of contract suit against the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers stemming from faulty construction plans for an Arkansas dam.
