Ex-Kinder Morgan Worker Sues Over Religious Bias

Law360, New York (May 5, 2011, 7:59 PM EDT) -- A former Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP terminal operator sued the oil and natural gas company Thursday in Texas state court for allegedly firing him after he complained about on-the-job discriminatory remarks about his religion.

Nizam Ali, a Muslim who worked for Kinder Morgan for 28 years, said in a complaint filed in Harris County, Texas, that his termination on May 27, 2010, was in retaliation for complaining about the discriminatory comments.
