Mosaid Sues Rival Chip Maker Over DRAM Patents

Law360, New York (May 11, 2011, 3:14 PM EDT) -- Mosaid Technologies Inc. slapped Elpida Memory Inc. on Tuesday with a suit in Texas, accusing the rival of infringing six patents for semiconductor memory technology, the second such action Mosaid has launched in a month.

The complaint asserts that Elpida, Buffalo Inc., and Axiontech infringe six of its semiconductor memory patents by making, using, importing, offering for sale or selling dynamic random access memory or other products containing DRAM in the U.S.
