Trucking Co. Beats Race Bias Suit In 5th Circ.

Law360, New York (May 12, 2011, 5:56 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Thursday affirmed the dismissal of a suit that alleged trucking company Yellow Transportation Inc. discriminated against several Hispanic employees at a terminal in Dallas.

The case was brought by two Hispanic employees who worked at Yellow Transportation, one of whom was fired for threatening a white co-worker during a workplace altercation, and a white employee who claimed he was fired for picketing in support of his minority colleagues.
