NY Can't Add Small Businesses To Intel Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (May 13, 2011, 6:05 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in Delaware on Thursday rejected New York State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman's bid to amend the state's antitrust lawsuit against Intel Corp. to include small businesses as a consumer group.

Schneiderman sought to amend the complaint his predecessor, now-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, filed against Intel in 2009 to clarify the consumer group to include small and medium businesses in New York. Cuomo accused Intel of strong-arming large computer makers into signing deals to use its microprocessors.
