Retail Workers Union Weighs In On Circuit City Suit

Law360, New York (May 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A labor union that boasts a membership of 100,000 workers has decided to throw its weight behind a putative class action that accuses retail electronics giant Circuit City Stores Inc. of age discrimination.

The executive board of the Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union (RWDSU) on Tuesday approved a motion to file an amicus brief in the case, which was filed in April in Los Angeles Superior Court.
