Aegis' $100M Trade Secrets Suit To Stay In Calif.

Law360, New York (May 17, 2011, 7:05 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court ruled Monday that outsourcing company Aegis USA Inc.'s $100 million trade secrets and unfair competition suit alleging Teletech Holdings Inc. poached its employees should stay in California, but Teletech vowed to keep fighting to move the case to the Philippines.

Reversing a lower court's decision to transfer the case to the Philippines, where the alleged poaching took place, the state appeals court held that Aegis' choice of forum in California was entitled to great deference.
