Attys Wrongly Revoked From Coverage Action: 4th Circ.

Law360, New York (May 17, 2011, 6:31 PM EDT) -- The Fourth Circuit ruled Friday that a South Carolina federal judge had wrongly snatched pro hac vice admissions away from three Jorden Burt LLP attorneys representing Aegon USA Inc. in a proposed class action over supplemental cancer insurance policies.

U.S. District Judge G. Ross Anderson Jr. had barred Irma Solares, Julianna McCabe and Markham Leventhal from continuing to represent Aegon in July 2009 after the attorneys accused him of being biased and asked him to step aside, according to the Fourth Circuit.
