ITC Opens Probes Into Chinese Steel Cylinder Imports

Law360, New York (May 20, 2011, 5:27 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Wednesday said it has launched anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations into imports of high pressure steel cylinders from China, examining whether the imports harm U.S. industry.

The ITC said in a Federal Register notice that the investigations were triggered by a petition filed May 11 by Norris Cylinder Co., which claims imports of high pressure steel cylinders from China pose a real and imminent threat to the survival of U.S. manufacturers.
