Ex-IMF Chief Indicted On Sex Charges

Law360, New York (May 19, 2011, 7:55 PM EDT) -- Former International Monetary Fund managing director Dominique Strauss-Kahn was indicted Thursday in New York state court over sex crimes related to an alleged attempted rape of a maid in a Manhattan luxury hotel.

New York County District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. announced the charges following a hearing in which the 62-year-old French banker won release on a $1 million bond. He has not yet entered a plea to the allegations.
