McDermott Advises Actuant In $155M Weasler Deal

Law360, New York (May 20, 2011, 2:36 PM EDT) -- Diversified industrial company Actuant Corp. on Friday announced plans to expand its agricultural machinery business with the $155 million acquisition of Weasler Engineering Inc.

While Actuant already supplies high force hydraulic tools and equipment for the construction and energy markets, the deal enhances its industrial presence as an agricultural and vehicular equipment manufacturer, according to the press release.

Weasler, which generated about $85 million in revenue in the past year, is headquartered in West Bend, Wis., and has subsidiary operations in the Netherlands and Hungary....
