GCC Alliance Cops To Concrete Price-Fixing

Law360, New York (May 20, 2011, 5:38 PM EDT) -- GCC Alliance Concrete Inc. pled guilty Friday to three counts of price-fixing as part of an ongoing federal antitrust investigation of the ready-mix concrete industry in Iowa and surrounding states.

The Orange City, Iowa-based company will receive a criminal fine to be determined by U.S. District Judge Mark W. Bennett. Its four-member board of directors met March 29 and decided the plea agreement was in its best interests, according to court filings.
