Dana, Creditors Say Goodyear's Claim Too Late

Law360, New York (May 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt auto parts maker Dana Corp. and its official committee of unsecured creditors have filed objections to claims filed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in March, about six months after the deadline to file claims had passed.

In two motions filed Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, the company and the creditors group said that Goodyear, one of the world's largest tire companies, does not meet the evidentiary burden to file late claims.
