JPML Sends Uponor Faulty Plumbing Suits To Minn.

Law360, New York (May 24, 2011, 5:13 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation centralized in Minnesota on Monday five putative consumer fraud class actions accusing Uponor Inc. and a subsidiary of breaching warranty agreements and selling plumbing systems with faulty brass insert fittings prone to premature failures.

The panel transferred two actions in the Central District of California and one case in the District of Oregon to the District of Minnesota for coordinated or consolidated pretrial proceedings before U.S. District Judge Ann D. Montgomery with two separate suits currently pending there....
