Ohio Rapper Hits Speed Bump On 'Bugatti Butch' Name

Law360, New York (May 25, 2011, 12:52 PM EDT) -- Luxury car manufacturer Bugatti International SA sued a Cleveland rapper going by the name of Bugatti Butch in Ohio on Tuesday, seeking to throw up a roadblock to keep the performer from using the trademarked name.

The Luxembourg-based company accused Aurelius Hill and his Mean Mind Entertainment LLC label of violating Bugatti's bevy of trademark registrations for the company's name, which is protected for a range of goods including automobiles, duffel bags and billfolds.
