Oscar Mayer Misleads Consumers On Fat Content: Suit

Law360, New York (May 24, 2011, 8:30 PM EDT) -- Kraft Foods Global Inc. and subsidiary Oscar Mayer Foods Corp. were slapped with a class action in Florida on Tuesday accusing them of deceiving consumers about the amount of fat per serving in certain Oscar Mayer meat products.

Named plaintiff Michael McDougall's complaint against Kraft Foods Global, Kraft Foods Inc. and Oscar Mayer alleges violations of Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, misleading advertising in violation of Florida law, breach of express warranty, and unjust enrichment.
